Tony Bambry has established a reputation as a respected and sucessful Bloodstock Agent.

This reputation has been built with a tried and proven record of selecting suitable racehorses from New Zealand for the overseas markets, in particular Australia and Asia.

He attends most race-meetings and trials fixtures in the Central Disticts area which gives him the inside edge on spotting promising up-an-coming racehorses.

He has been involved in the sale of many high-class racehorses to overseas interests including Kingi (General Kingi in Hong Kong), Hoggie Boy, Strait From Above, Bruiser, Beatle Boy, Flaming Paris and Citizen Roi.

Tony also has a wealth of experience in finding suitable broodmares for clients. One of his successful deals was the sale of Zapeace, in foal to Chief Bearhart, to Australian interests with her new owners deciding to send her to champion Giant’s Causeway.This same client has recently purchased the Irish bred mare Joie De Vivre who is in foal to Zabeel.This mare is the mother of the promising Michael Breslin trained Stravinsky filly How Fantastique.
