Darci Brahma finds favour with Karaka Buyers

The Oaks freshman stallion Darci Brahma concluded his Karaka sales debut finishing as the leading first season sire across the combined Premier/Select sessions.
Darci Brahma’s yearlings sold up to $480,000, with his 36 Premier yearlings averaging $140,972 and his 48 yearlings averaging $119,552 across the Premier/Select sessions. A great return for breeders’ with his Premier average nearly five times that of his 2007 service fee of $30,000.
Especially pleasing for The Oaks and Darci Brahma’s supporters was the support shown by many of Australia’s top trainers. Among those to buy his yearlings were: Bart Cummings, Gai Waterhouse, Mick Price, John Hawke’s, Mark Kavanagh, Lee Freedman, Leon Corstons, Bede Murray, Sheila Laxon, and Danny O’Brien.
With his yearlings now spread amongst Australasia's top trainers, Darci Brahma continues on his path towards stallion success.
