A Group One winning son of Mr Prospector from arguably America’s hottest family. Standing an imposing16.2 hands, and stamping his own good looks and athletic type into his progeny. With Traditionally’s oldest progeny now 3YO’s, he has left from his first southern crop the Top Weighted 2YO filly of 2005/06 Chant. The game and very fast Chant showed immediate form at two winning the Gr.3 Eclipse Stakes and the listed Fairview Ford Stakes. She went on to finish a close and unlucky 2nd to Joker’s Wild in the Gr.1 ARC Diamond Stakes and 2nd to Naturo in the Gr.2 Matamata Breeders’ Stakes. Other Traditionallys’ to show form at two were the Jim Campin trained Lord and the Te Akau runner Opportunity Knocks. Generally the pattern seen with Traditionally’s progeny is that are taking time to mature into their frames – the majority like Traditionally himself are bigger, more imposing types. Feedback from trainers indicates that they are happy with the progress shown by their young ‘Traditionally’s,’ and the majority report them as 'nice types and natural gallopers.'
