The Waipa Racing Club would like to welcome Ethan Daley to the riding ranks here at Te Awamutu. Ethan is apprentice to Robert Priscott and last week had his first race day ride aboard Elblitzem for a second placing at Te Rapa. He has been riding successfully at the trials for the past few months and is sure to gain early success now that he is race day riding.
Ethan is the son of Janene and Andy Daley who both have a background in racing. He is a natural lightweight and with the 4 kilo allownce no doubt he will be much sort after over the coming months.

Craig Grylls continues to climb the ladder of success and did well in a recent trip to Australia. Let's hope he doesn't leave these shores too soon as we need these promising young riders.
