Stonyridge Vineyard

Waiheke Island, is just a luxurious 35 minute ferry cruise from downtown, Auckland City. The island is famous for its beautiful white sand beaches and is world renowned for producing great red wines due to its low summer rainfall and high temperatures. Nowhere is the magic of Waiheke vineyards captured more poignantly than the rose coloured winery overlooking the olive grove and north facing vineyard at Stonyridge. Stonyridge are dedicated to producing the finest cabernet blend wine in the world (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot). This involves meticulous organic viticulture and traditional winemaking.

Our Wines :
'For its arresting power, complexity and richness, and sheer vintage-to-vintage brilliance, Stonyridge Larose must be ranked as New Zealand's greatest claret-style red.'
Michael Cooper, Wine Atlas of New Zealand 2003
'I have seen many New World attempts to emulate the Bordeaux method of growing grapes, none more convincing than that of Stephen White at Stonyridge....A vertical tasting did no more than confirm my view that Stephen White is making New Zealand's finest cabernet based | |
