Man O' War Estate
Man O' War Estate occupies a series of rolling hills at the eastern end of Waiheke Island, Auckland's most renowned wine region. The extent of the land holding means that there are distinct variations in elevation, soil type and aspect, and these have allowed us to experiment and perfectly match the individual sites with the varieties that we want to grow. Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot form the mainstay of our production, and while these grapes are consistently planted throughout New Zealand, we believe that Waiheke has the potential to produce wines which express these grapes in new and exciting ways.
With their own aspect, unique terroir and variations in height, we believe Man O' War's vineyards are perfectly placed to make an indelible mark on the wine drinking public, both domestically and internationally.
